The Cooper family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Hayley Lauren Cooper of Long Beach, California. At the young age of 30, on June 15, 2023, Hayley left behind her loving family and friends and made her way to the heavens. Hayley was born on August 29th, 1992 in Santa Monica, California. She grew up in nearby Westchester/Playa del Rey before moving with her family in 2003 to Palos Verdes where she attended middle and high school.
While Hayley spent her youngest years playing soccer, in high school she soon found her forever passion as an artist and dedicated her life to dance. After years of dance competitions with her friends at Fusion Dance Studio and Palos Verdes High School (where she graduated as Valedictorian), Hayley then headed to Loyola Marymount University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance. An aspiring professional dancer, Hayley spent the next several years traveling around the country training with extraordinary dancers and choreographers. Even after years of extensive hip surgeries, nothing could keep Hayley from her passion for the human form. While re-gaining her strength and continuing to pursue dance, Hayley began a career as a personal trainer and fitness instructor at Iconix in Long Beach where she worked until her passing.
Throughout her life, Hayley was known for her laugh out loud humor and ability to bring levity and light to any situation. Hayley loved deeply and wore her heart on her sleeve. She is survived by parents Christopher and Christine Cooper as well as her older sister Kelsey Cooper and younger brother Matthew Cooper.
