I had the pleasure of working with Firouz at JPL and as a friend for over 25 years.This photo was taken at San Fernando valley Engineers' Banquet, where Firouz was awarded the Engineer of the year nominated by me.

Dr. Naderi, you forever will be in our hearts. Rest in Peace!

Dr. Naderi was a person I deeply respected, not just for his high position at JPL or his awards. He was a generous, humble, and kind-hearted individual. He was approachable and genuinely cared about his roots in Iran, particularly  the most vulnerable segments of society. Dr. Naderi dedicated himself to helping his fellow Iranians in any way possible, despite residing in the United States. He never hesitated to acknowledge the value of others' work, treating everyone with respect and dignity. He had a big, compassionate heart. These qualities were truly invaluable, and I hope we can learn from his example. May his legacy inspire us to carry forward his spirit of kindness and selflessness.
