Elizabeth King Findley

Betty graduated from Long Beach State in 1968 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and began her first career as a teacher.

She taught science at Walteria Middle School in the Torrance Unified School District for 10 years. During the last 4 years of her teaching career she also attended Whittier Law School.

After graduating law school and passing the bar, she began her second career as an attorney focusing on family law. She remained a lawyer until retirement.

Betty enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, gardening, and fostering and rescuing Boston Bull Terriers.

Betty is survived by her daughter Catherine Carlson and son Daniel Findley (Karol), grandchildren Amy Barnett (Joseph), Cassandra Findley, Grace Davis (Blake) and Reese Findley (Samantha), and great-grandchildren Josephine, Abraham, Griffin and Daisy.
