Dale A Smith

Dale "Duke" Smith, a Redondo Beach/South Bay resident for 48+ years, passed away peacefully at his home in Redondo Beach surrounded by family on February 16, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Ursula Marion Smith (Tassotti), his daughter Sharon Crosby (Smith), sons Eric "Rick" Smith, Dale Smith Jr., Lance Smith, and his grandchildren Cassidy Crosby, Chelsea Smith, Jennifer Smith and Tanner Smith. Dale was a Veteran of the US Army and a retired Aerospace Industrial Engineer/Executive with 50 Years of experience. During his retirement, he built and repaired computers for family and friends. To all that knew him, Dale was an extremely generous and a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many people in the South Bay, Los Angeles County and beyond. He was truly the life of the party and has left a huge hole in all of the hearts he touched. He will be greatly missed.

Celebration of Life to honor Dale will follow in the late spring.
