William Joseph Champlin

He died respecting our Flag and Country. He learned to hate war after being in Korea and Vietnam, never recovering from the physical and moral wounds he received.

Always loving his family. Predeceased by his wife Juanita, father Frank, mother Theodora, brothers Russell and Myron and sister Sarah.

Surviving brothers Tommie and John were always reminded, “You’re Not Heavy, You’re My Brother”. He will always be at our side. No one could ever hold his spirit.

His resting place will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery along side his loving wife Juanita.

A graveside service will be held on May 19, 2017 at 11:00 am at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach, San Antonio, Texas 78209.
