Wanda Lee Sharp

Wanda Lee Coker Sharp of San Antonio, Texas passed away on the 26th day of June 2023 at the age of 90. She was born on September 5, 1932, in Troup, Texas to Leon “Buck” Coker and Ellen Maggie Simms Coker.

Wanda graduated from Benavides High School in 1949 and married Haroldean “Bull” Sharp on July 9, 1949. She was actively involved in the Women’s Missionary Union; The Seaman Center in Freeport, Texas; Missionary Work in Idaho; and was a prayer warrior until the end.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Bull, and numerous brothers and sisters in Christ.

Wanda leaves behind her daughter, Sandra Roggenkamp (Kenneth), sons Leon Sharp (Rosie) and Michael Sharp (Michelle); two grandsons, Buck Sharp and Jonathan Sharp (Bridgette); two great-grandchildren, Starr Sharp and David Sharp.

The family is planning a memorial service in the fall.
