Virginia “Ginny” Hammer July 24, 1939 – October 13, 2023. Virginia Hammer, age 84, known for her eternally positive attitude, kind spirit, and the magic she created in the kitchen, went to be with the Lord on October 13, 2023. She was born in Cochecton, NY on July 24, 1939, the daughter of Richard Kieseler and Janet Briggs.
Ginny is survived by her husband, Dr. Henry "Hank" Hammer; Brother, John Briggs (Birdie); Daughters, Christine Bendele (Michael), Gail Kennedy (Derek), and Margo Powell (Les). She has seven grandchildren who provided her with so much joy: Kiele Powell, Seth Powell, Kathleen Bendele, Seamus Kennedy, Sebastian Kennedy, Shannon Bendele and Moira Kennedy.
