Virginia San Luis Dizon

Virginia was a lifelong resident of San Antonio, Texas.

She was preceded in death by: her mother, Adela Sustaita; her father, Alejandro A. San Luis; her sister,

Victoria Sims; her stepson, David D. Dizon; her niece Linda Dizon; her nephew, Alex Diaz; and her husband, Freddie C. Dizon.

Virginia is survived by her 3 children: Michael Galvan, Adela Rodriguez and Laura Spencer.

Her 2 stepchildren and their spouses: Debra Hernandez and John, and Daniel Dizon and Diana.

Virginia enjoyed a blended family that included : 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews from California to New York.

Virginia was very proud of her Filipino heritage and her family was one of the first Filipino families in San Antonio. She has relatives who reside in Los Banos, Philippines.

Before retiring, Virginia worked as a cartographer, at United Aerial Mapping (UAM) and briefly at Sea World - San Antonio, where she met many people and made many friends.

Throughout her long life, Virginia always maintained a positive attitude and optimistic outlook. She is loved and will be missed by many.

Services will be held at Ft. Sam Houston cemetery, Pavillion #1 . On March 24, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
