Tommy Joe Chrestman

Tommy is survived by his beloved wife, Janet Chrestman, his daughter Taryn and spouse Ramon Urias and step son Kamran Omidvar; and his cherished grandchildren, Ryan Reynolds and Kelsy Reynolds, Cruz Urias, Cindy Omidvar and Samantha Omidvar and his great grand son Kal El Wallace. He is also survived by his siblings, Larry, wife Lea Chrestman, Archie, wife Toni Chrestman and Terry, wife Niki Chrestman. Tommy is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.

Tommy graduated from Wellman High School The Class of 1967, excelling in sports, academics and FFA. Tommy also graduated from Texas Tech University.

Tommy served in the Marine Reserves from which he was honorably discharged. He was also a mason. Tommy dedicated 39 years of service as a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to his community.

In his free time, Tommy enjoyed fishing, hunting, wood working and spending time watching nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews participate in sports.

Tommy is preceded in death by his beloved father Mavis and beloved mother Reta Bell.

We will miss Tommy’s kindness and caring ways. He was very loved.

A memorial service to celebrate Tommy’s life will be held at a later date with details to be announced.
