Thomas George Ramsey

Thomas Ramsey, 80, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on January 21, 2026. A devoted lover of music, Thomas dedicated his life to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through his passion for song. His commitment to sharing the joy of music was evident in all he did.

Born on August 14, 1945, in Waco, Texas, Thomas was raised by Brad and Georgia Ramsey. He discovered his love for music at an early age, which led him to a lifelong journey of creating and sharing music with others. After graduating from high school, he served his country in the United States Air Force. Following his honorable discharge, he attended Baylor University, where he earned a degree in Music Education/Performance, preparing him to share the gift of music for the rest of his days on earth. Throughout his life, he inspired others with his talent and genuine spirit.

A memorial service will be held on January 7th at 10 AM at First Baptist Church, where he was a devoted member.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Memorials and Honorariums fund at First Baptist Church, San Antonio, honoring Thomas's legacy of spreading the hope and joy of Christ through music.
