Sylvia Sue Sibyl Denard Hilliard

Born on September 26, 1940, Sue (what her friends and family called her) grew up in Edna, Texas, before making her home in San Antonio, where she graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1959. She dedicated a number of years of her professional life to serving her community through her work with the San Antonio Independent School District. Above all, Sue was known for her warmth, dedication, and deep commitment to her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bohn Hilliard.

Sue’s memory will be forever cherished by her surviving family: her children, Lance Hilliard, and Susan Smeby along with her son-in-law, Jason Smeby; and her cherished grandchildren, Morgan Hilliard, Dawson Hilliard, and Kenedy Hilliard. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

To honor the beautiful life she lived and the love she gave so freely, her family will gather for an intimate service to celebrate her memory and celebrate her life.
