He is preceded in death by his parents Phyllis Jean Hopper and William Lamar Harper.
He is survived by his loving wife of twenty years, Janet Harper his son Brian Harper and wife, Stephanie, daughter Judy Johnson and spouse Jim and two stepchildren Jennnifer Villalpando and spouse and Steven Taylor. He has 10 grandchildren.
Stanley met the love of his life, Janet Harper, at a craft show. They then fell in love and were married for 20 years.
Stanley loved to take cruises with Janet. They cruised to the Caribbean, Hawaii, Alaska, Panama Canal, South America, Southern Caribbean, and Transatlantic to England.
