Sharon Elaine Uselton Munke, age 80, died in San Antonio on May 15, 2018. Born in Austin to Clarence and Marguerite Uselton, she worked as a teacher and principal for over 20 years including one year in Germany. Sharon valued education and remained a life-long learner by continuing to take classes. Sharon was a member of the Coker United Methodist Church and AAUW. She enjoyed travel, playing bridge and bingo.
Sharon was preceded in death by her son Joe Braxton, parents and sister. Sharon requested cremation and no service. Sharon’s suggested memorial contributions to Shriner’s Crippled Children’s Hospital or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital for children who are crippled or have cancer in honor of Sharon’s life and her family’s cancer deaths.
