Ron was one of the first friends that I met when I moved to San Antonio when I was in my early 20s. I didn’t have any family here and he quickly became a family to me. Ron had such a big heart and a positive, happy, faith-based outlook on life. I looked up to Ron and thought of him as my mentor. He was always willing to help me.  He helped me with car issues, helped me move, helped me with questions about finance and life in general. He greatly influenced my adult life decisions. Ron also enjoyed life. He introduced me to NIOSA,  my first Spurs game, and so many events and adventures. I will treasure my memories of Ron always. I truly believe that I would not be the person I am today without him in my life. I pray that Ron’s soul is at peace and that he is looking down on us right now with a big smile on his face, knowing that he will be forever in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
