Robert Emery Stautzenberger was born on August 16, 1964 in San Antonio, Texas and died suddenly on May 21, 2019 at his home in Pipe Creek. Robert was a 1982 graduate of Highlands High School and attended Hallmark Institute where he received his Airframe & Power Plant License as a mechanic.
Out of high school, Robert worked in the entertainment industry and worked on sound boards and stage productions. Robert went to work for Learjet in 1996 in Wichita, Kansas and worked on many experimental projects including the Global Express project which relocated Robert to the Great Lakes and Canada. It was while working for Learjet that he met his wife Vicky and they were married in 2005.
While in the aircraft industry, Robert loved travelling and he got to work in many countries including Costa Rica, Portugal, the Netherlands and many tropical islands. Robert returned to San Antonio in 2009 and worked at Boeing as a mechanic and analyst.
Robert had a love of Corvettes and worked with a garage band as the sound guy and got to meet Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Robert is survived by his wife Vicky. He is also survived by his parents Emery & Barbara Stautzenberger of San Antonio and his brother Ricky Stautzenberger and his wife LeeAnne of Pipe Creek. He is also survived by his Uncle Don Sadler (and wife Linda) and his Aunt Claire Sadler and many nephew, nieces, grandnieces, cousins and friends.
