Pedro “Pete” Sepulveda of San Antonio, Texas passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on Friday, May 26, 2023, at the age of 97. He was born on June 25, 1925, in Maunabo, Puerto Rico. Pedro was a WWII Veteran and was very proud of his contribution in building the Panama Bridge during that time. After serving, he relocated to Chicago, Illinois where he lived and worked for nearly 40 years. He moved to San Antonio with his wife Maria in 1986 and spent his last 37 years enjoying retirement. He was an amazing bowler and was a member of the Seniors League at The Lanes at Oak Hills for the last 34 years.
Pedro is preceded in death by his parents Justino and Catalina. His siblings; Benito, Petronila, Leonidas, and Felix and his son Pedro Morales Sepulveda.
Pedro is survived by his wife Maria. His brothers Luis Sepulveda and Leon Sepulveda. His children; Pedro Sepulveda Jr., Hector Sepulveda, Olga Sepulveda, Emma Sepulveda, Silvia Sepulveda Torres, Alejandro Sepulveda, Michael Sepulveda, Sergio Sepulveda, and Juan Antonio Sepulveda. His stepdaughters Rosie Cuellar and Leticia Hernandez. His 42 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family would like to thank Pastor Bobby, Dolores, Anthony and Guiding Light Hospice Care for the care and compassion they showed Pedro in his final days.
Pedro will be cremated, and his services will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on June 9, 2023 at 9:15 a.m. Those in attendance are asked to arrive in Committal Shelter 2.
