born May 13, 1930 in Fentress, TX and entered into the Kingdom of Heaven June 12, 2023, (feast day of The Immaculate Heart of Mary). She was 93 years young and loved by all her family and friends. Patsy’s passing was a loving and peaceful one. She left this world wrapped in love and prayer surrounded by her children and holding her husband’s, of 70 years, hand.
Patsy was a friend to all with a big heart. She loved cooking, baking, traveling, and serving her St. Ann’s Community. She was an amazing cook and loved sharing her talents of cooking, baking, and sewing with family and friends. Patsy attended numerous U.S. Marine Corps Reunions with her husband Tony. They traveled throughout the United States making friends across the country. As a devout Catholic she was a member of Juvental Cordi Mariana (1953) and member of St. Ann’s Parish since 1959 where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and Cursillista. Patsy was active at St. Ann’s School: PTC President (1985), Room Mother, Den Mom, Brownie Leader, Festival Worker and PTC Activities for 8 years. Patsy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother of five grandsons who she took care of at one time or another. Chasing after 5 grandsons is how she kept her girlish figure.
Patsy married the love of her life, Tony S. Espino, on December 26, 1953. They were married for 70 years and had five loving children: Gerard P. Espino (Rebecca Espino), Carol L. Frausto (Ruben R. Frausto), Ruthy Brown-Castillo (Raymond Castillo, Jr.) and Nicolas Espino. Grandchildren: Lisa Castillo, Anthony Sean Brown, Ragon Brown (Brittany), Scott Taylor Brown, and Joseph A. Rodriguez. Great Grandchildren: Emma B. Rodriguez, Sofia C. Rodriguez, Claire A. Brown, Amelia Brown. She was proceeded in death by her loving parents, Geronimo and Nicholza, her son Anthony Espino Jr. and grandson Frank Carlos Rodriguez.
