Goree, Neva A. departed this life on April 22, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on July 27, 1931, in Navarro County (Corsicana) Texas, to Andrew N. and Dovie E. (Frazier) Trull. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Leonard J. Goree, Jr.; her stepson, Glenn H. Goree; her parents; and a sister, Palma Taylor McElreath. Neva loved God, her country, her family, and bowling. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Valerie M. Goree (Glenn Goree); her stepson, Dale J. Goree; two grandchildren, Colleen G. Lee, and husband, Jason; Kirk J. Goree; two great-grandchildren, Xaia E. Goree and Nicolas J. Goree; a sister, Andrea Trull King; nieces, a nephew, great niece and nephews, many cousins and friends.
As per her wishes, there will be no services. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
