Monica Hernandez Sotello

Monica Hernandez Sotello of Boerne, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at her home in San Antonio, TX on 01/24/2025. Born on 06/08/1933 in Boerne, Monica was the daughter of Gregorio and Monica Hernandez.

She was preceded in death by her husband Hildo Rodriguez Sotello, her children Pete Sotello, Elizabeth Rangel, Dolores Sotello, and Barbra Babb. She is survived by her three sons, Reuben, Victor and Paul Sotello, and daughter Theresa Sotello-Reeves, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Monica was a kind and generous person with a contagious smile who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Monica was born and raised in Boerne, where she met her husband Hildo. She raised her family of eight in the Boerne area. She loved dancing, spending time with family, and the occasional weekend at Kickapoo.

A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday February 13th at 2:00 PM at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Boerne, TX. Food and refreshments to follow services.
