Miriam “Jeannine” (Thompson) Street, 89, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, March 25, 2023. She was born on January 18, 1934, to Joseph and Eunice (Schafer) Thompson of Mansfield, Ohio. She graduated from Union High School in 1952. She moved from snowy Ohio to the Texas sunshine where she loved gardening and tending to her flowers. Jeannine also enjoyed making baby blankets for family and anyone expecting a new baby, family game nights and watching college sports, Tom Brady and rooting for the Houston Astros. You could also find her cheering on her grandchildren at their events; she was their biggest fan.
Jeannine was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Eunice Thompson, her husband Frank Street and her beloved dog, Odie. In addition, her sister Rosalie Sawdey, her brother, Ronald Thompson and wife Betty, her sister Marjorie and husband Earl Alexander, her sister Joanne and husband Carroll Eugene “Gene” Brinson, brothers-in-law Richard Curry, Robert Milum and David W. Murray.
Survivors include son David and wife Stacy Murray, son Russell and wife Michelle Murray and son Matthew and wife Melanie Murray. Her grandchildren include Ryan and wife Sarah, Reagan, Madissen, Samuel, Kaleb, and great granddaughter, Nova Murray. She is also survived by her sisters, Sondra Milum and Yvonne Curry and sister-in-law, Judy Speakes as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
