Martha “Mimi” Ogdee of Houston, Texas, passed away on February 20th at the age of 70, after a year long battle with glioblastoma. She was born on March 2nd in Houston, Texas, but enjoyed her time and always reminisced of the fond memories made while attending school in California. She graduated from Monterey Bay Academy in 1970.
She worked for several companies as a administrative assistant over the years, but eventually followed her passion and started her own company making all natural products from essential oils named "Mimi’s Designs".
She was actively involved in her local church and Buddhist temple.
She is preceded in death by their father, Lealon Kilgore; mother, Frances Kilgore; brother, Michael Kilgore ; and daughter, Rebecca Ogdee.
She is survived by her sons, Jason (DeShanna) Rider and Edward Ogdee; as well as 7 grandchildren, Alanna, Jasalynn, Payton “Lynn”, Kylee “K”, Gabriel, Isabella and Tristyn.
The family would like to acknowledge the companionship, care and support Fred Ogdee provided, especially during this past year.
There will be an intimate Celebration of Life service at The Woodlands Methodist Church at 2200 Lake Woodlands Drive on Wednesday, March 15th at 11:00am.
