Margaret Pearl Wiggins

Margaret (nickname Margie) was born on June 17, 1936 in Vanago County, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Warren G. Harding High School May 1954 in Warren, Ohio. Married at the age of 18 on December 4, 1954 in Warren, Ohio. Moved to San Antonio, Texas in 1958 with her husband Harris and two children Karen and Donnie where she had one more child Cindy, and remained in San Antonio the rest of her life. She was a homemaker and worked at a Bank for many years before retiring.

Preceded in death by her husband Harris Walker Wiggins, parents Eugene & Sarah Amy Shira, sister Dottie Fairchild.

Survived by sister Lethea Sekela, daughters Karen Wiggins & Cindy Latimer, son Donnie Wiggins, daughter-n-law Kathy Wiggins, son-n-law Steve Latimer, granddaughter’s Sarah Wiggins, Krista Summers & her husband Michael Summers.

Margaret was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. One of the most compassionate, caring, kindhearted and loving person you could ever meet. Everyone called her a sweetie. Those of us close to her knew that through all of her illnesses and pain she endured she was strong-willed, kept a positive attitude, and never complained. She was a Christian. She loved Christmas time with her family and all the decorations. She loved to eat sweets and her #1 favorite was chocolate. She enjoyed going out to dinner for a good steak. Her hobby was collecting owls.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to the American Heart Association in her name Margaret Pearl Wiggins.

Memorial Service will be held on February 17, 2018 at 10:00am at Neptune Society 8910 Bandera Road, Suite #301 San Antonio, Texas 78250.

After her cremation, she will be buried with her husband at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
