

Anne was born November 28th 1951 in McAllen, Texas. Her family moved to San Antonio where she attended St. Gregory’s Catholic school and was a graduate of Ursuline Academy. She received her Bachelors in Medical Technology from St. Marys and later her Masters of Public Health from UT Health Houston. She worked many years for the CDC which moved her from San Antonio, Atlanta, Phoenix, and Santa Fe. Anne saw the Beatles live at their Houston show in 1965. She loved the Southwest, being in nature, music, art, and gardening. She practiced yoga and was Bikram certified in 2002. Most recently she was a member of Alamo Couples and Rainbow Gardeners.
Anne is loved, missed and survived by her wife of 24 years Elizabeth Owens, her mother Clara Altobelli, her children Gino ( Elizabeth) Lutz and Angela Lutz, her beloved grand babies Emiliano Nunez-Lutz, Vivienne Swanne Lutz and Catarina Fawn Lutz, her 5 loving siblings, Stephen (Kathy) Altobelli, Tony (Becky) Altobelli, Mike (Barbara) Altobelli, Jane (Scott) Sears and Marc (Lisa) Altobelli along with her sweet nieces and nephews and many great friends she has made along the way.
She was preceded in death by her father Anselmo Gino Altobelli and her ex-husband Kenneth James Lutz.
Anne was a beautiful person and a positive force in the world who had a natural way of making people feel safe in her presence. Her life will be celebrated with a memorial at Japanese Tea Garden Friday February 23rd, 2024, at 10:30 AM
