Luis was a visionary entrepreneur, gifted musician, and a man known for his generosity and faith. He lived with purpose—always seeking to bring out the best in others. As one friend put it, “His spirituality always set fire to my weaknesses and doubts.” His grace walked before him, and he carried a deep love for people, animals, nature, and the human experience—always striving to see and bring out the best in everyone.
He had the perseverance to keep building and the grit to bring his dreams to life. Throughout his life, Luis founded and led several successful ventures, inspiring others through his determination and leadership. He was the CEO of Fastball Integration, President and CEO of 210 Wellness Center, and Vice President of Sponsorship and Community Relations at Alamo City All Stars, among other businesses he helped build.
Luis was known for his smile, his kindness, and his joy. His heart reflected God’s love—faithful, compassionate, and steadfast in times of need. He is a man of God whose faith, creativity, and humor left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Luis is survived by his loving mother, Anna Cantu, inherited father Ralph Cantu, father Luis R. Maldonado, sisters Chrisenda Pereida (Paul) and Vanessa Benitez (Sammy), brother Elijah Abram Meeks, and many beloved nieces and nephews. He will also be dearly missed by numerous friends, colleagues, and loved ones.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor his legacy.
