

Lisa Lynette Duarte of San Antonio, passed away on December 22, 2025 at the age of 65. She was born on May 5, 1960 in Baytown, Texas. Daughter of Peter and the late Florence Duarte. She is predeceased by her mother Florence and her sister, Kathleen Denise Price. She is survived by her father, Peter Duarte, niece Kendahl Main, grand nieces Elizabeth Hynum and Emily Stone as well as other family and friends.
She graduated from Sterling High School in Baytown, Texas and went to college on a Tennis Scholarship at Southwest State College where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree, as well as a Master’s Degree from Texas A&I (A&M) Kingsville, Texas.
Lisa became an athletic coach for grades Kinder through High School levels, coaching volleyball, track, as well as basketball. Later in her career she became an administrator in positions of Assistant/Vice Principal as well as an Academic Dean. She spent her teaching and administrative years working for Edgewood ISD, East Central ISD, a brief time at SAISD and at St. Pius Parochial School being her first. Most of her career were in an administrative position. After her retirement, she spent a few years working for Alamo College as a Field Supervisor supervising future teachers in the classroom acquiring their teaching certifications.
Lisa enjoyed the water. She enjoyed swimming, the beach, Schlitterbahn, as well as sunbathing.
She was a happy person, funny, and a kind heart. Lisa would always stop to chat with children and babies. Lisa was well liked by all that knew her. Rest in peace, Lisa!
We will miss her forever!
