Larry Wayne Murphy

He is preceded in death by his parents Waymon Thomas & Violette Murphy. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Patricia Crain Murphy, sons James “Jim” Gillespie, Justin Postell and his wife Mary Postell, grandson William Thomas Gillespie and granddaughter Leah Elizabeth Postell.

He is also survived by his sister Nanci Colleen Garza & husband Phil, special niece Teri Bohannon, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.Larry will be greatly missed by pets, Ebbi and Sage.

Larry, in his retirement continued to stay active with real estate. He was an active member of San Antonio Cactus & Xerophyte Society. Also enjoyed composing music, singing and playing his guitars. In his leisure time, he enjoyed gardening with his wife and the occasional search for geographic treasures. Larry will be truly missed by all who knew him. His life will be celebrated in a memorial service with family and friends. The family would like to thank special friends, Brent & Sandy Catterton, Paul & Lisa Kibler and Debbie Murphy.
