Kenneth Carl Whitton Jr.

A native of Columbus, Georgia, Kenneth was the oldest of three children of Kenneth, Sr. and Shirley Whitton. He is survived by his mother and two sisters, Melissa and Debra, his daughter Ariana, and his partner James Roussett III.

Ken was a 1990 graduate of Hallie Turner high school. Kenneth then found his way to San Antonio, Texas at the age of 26 where he graduated from Palo Alto College and the University of Texas at San Antonio. He then became a mobile notary signing agent, real estate agent and broker in the San Antonio area.

Although he passed away naturally in his sleep at 48, he would want us to have happy thoughts and remembrances. Throughout his life, Ken enjoyed SCUBA diving, dogs and cats, traveling the country, and socializing and helping his friends. He also enjoyed music, especially Broadway performances, Sandi Patti and Dolly Parton. Ken was very loyal to anyone who earned his trust and was a true friend to those who knew him well. The accomplishment he was most proud of was being daddy to his daughter, Ariana, who was his inspiration.

In lieu of flowers, an account will be set up to support his minor child who will be in the care of his longtime best friend, G. Roger Stanley and his aunt Jean Whitton Ingram.
