A 1972 graduate of Judson High School, he had Rocket Pride, even through the last years of his life. Jose was a hardworking man who would give you the shirt off his back, and to know him was to love him.
He married his first love, Eulalia in 1974 and they celebrated 50 years of marriage in June of 2024. Jose raised his children in their home of 46 years and was Blessed to have celebrated many occasions there with a multitude of friends and family.
Jose made a reputation for himself in his neighborhood with his BBQ skills. He was known by many names in his lifetime to include “Pepe Luis” to his wife, Joe to his friends, neighbors and colleagues and “Tio Pepe” to so many nieces and nephews, but his favorite name of all was Grandpa. Jose doted on all his grandchildren and took pride in all of their accomplishments. He often called each of them to have conversations and ask how their day was going and would often close his calls with “Miss you, love you”. His good deeds, sense of humor, humongous heart and generous spirit will live on in memories and stories of his time on earth. Jose has left a void in the hearts of his loved ones and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cipriano and Consuelo Ramirez and brother Cipriano A. Ramirez and is survived by his Wife, Eulalia, children Velia (Roger) Echols, Andres (Nancy) Ramirez 6 grandchildren, Alexis, AJ, Vivianna, Annalyssa, Anthony and Lucas. Jose was also survived by his siblings Jaime (Lydia) Ramirez, Norma (Sandra) De Leon, Carlos Ramirez and so many nieces and nephews, friends and loved ones.
