John Mark Steward

Mark graduated from Westlake High School in Austin and went on to work dedicatedly as a caregiver, bringing warmth and compassion to those he served. Faith was a central part of Mark’s life, and he was an active member of the Impact Christian Fellowship community.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara Jinkins Steward and Jack Steward.

Mark is survived by his beloved wife, Jennie Steward; his brother, Stephen Steward; his daughters, Linda Steward, Kristina Dinscore (Nathan), and Jenna Lester; his grandchildren, McKenzie Lester, Kaleb Lester, Krista Lester, and Eleanor Dinscore; as well as numerous extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to the many first responders and community members who dedicated their time and efforts to help find Mark.
