He worked as a High School math teacher and coach, Naval investigator and Secret Service Agent.
He was actively involved in Church, Fishing and Hunting.
He was preceded in death by Elmer and Florence Heatherly.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sandy Heatherly. Sons and Spouses, James Heatherly and Omar Reyes, Gary and Lynn Heatherly, Larry Heatherly. Grandsons and Families, Austen Heatherly, Addison and Amanda Heatherly, Aaron and Ashley Heatherly, Landon Heatherly and Braydon Heatherly. Great Grandbabies, Paisley, Genevieve and James.
