Born on August 15, 1933, in Franklin, Massachusetts, Jeanne was the daughter of the late Harold and Florence Revell. She graduated from Franklin High School. Jeanne worked several years waitressing and hostessing (Fontaine Dickens and Luciano’s to name a couple) before working for the Franklin Housing Authority where she retired.
Jeanne was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and friend. She loved to travel the east coast and was fond of the beaches of Rhode Island. Raising 3 boys, she spent many evenings, afternoons or weekends driving to and/or from practices and games. She was herself an active sports participant, competitive as a bowler, a golfer - capturing her club’s championship a couple years and volunteered several years as a scorer at the New England Classic PGA tour event held at Sutton Valley. She also enjoyed tennis and watching on TV and was a big fan of Rafa (and his short white shorts). She eventually moved to Las Vegas to get away from the harsh New England weather and enjoyed her time in Vegas and then Henderson where she met a great group of gal pals. She loved playing card and board games with the gals. She finished her years in San Antonio, Texas.
She is survived by her children, Steven Ives; Keith Ives and his wife Mary Jane; Brian Ives and his wife Colleen; and her cherished grandchildren: Heather, Christy, Stephanie, Cody, Steven, Kyle, Lauren, Sean, Michelle and Robert; 13 great grandchildren; and predeceased by great granddaughter Eden. In addition to her parents, Jeanne was predeceased by her sister, Claire (Revell) Swanson and nephew Peter Swanson and is survived by her niece Paula Swanson and nephews Philip and Paul Swanson.
The family will hold a private memorial in the future.
Jeanne will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
