

Born in Mission, Texas, Irma lived a life deeply rooted in faith, family, and love. A devoted Catholic, her faith was a source of strength throughout her life.
Irma worked for ExxonMobil and built a beautiful life centered around the people she loved most. Family meant everything to her. She embraced life fully and loved music, dancing, traveling, good food, laughter, and making memories with those closest to her.
She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Martinez and her husband, Gilbert; her three grandchildren, Christopher Martinez and his wife, Ingrid; Joel Martinez and his wife, Jessica; Andrew Martinez; and her four beloved great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Jada, Angelica and Jesus Timothy. To her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she was lovingly known as “Mema,” a name that will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
She is also survived by her sisters, Maria (William) Lloyd, Grace (Israel) Chapa; and Ana (Javier) Mora, along with many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Irma was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Manuela Guajardo, and her siblings, Irene Moore, Jose Guajardo Jr., and Rogelio Guajardo.
Irma will be remembered for her unwavering love and devotion to her family, and for the signature kisses she gave that were the hallmark of her love.
To know Irma was to love her, and to be loved by her was a gift that will never be forgotten.
