Dolores Maria Ramirez

One of God's most beautiful creations made her way to heaven on August 12, 2016. Mamo, as she was lovingly known, lived a glorious 92 years. She was an amazing woman who will be dearly missed. Her name was Lola, but she was definitely Not a showgirl. Instead she was an RN who spent 28 years of her life caring for others. The rest of her life she spent caring for her family. Mamo was loving, charismatic, feisty, hilarious and a joy to be around up to her final day here on earth. She has left this place and will spend the rest of time living in peace with her creator. Dolores Maria Lopez Ramirez was born October 11, 1923 and died on August 12, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Severiano & Rafaela Lopez, her brothers, Clyde, Severiano Jr., Pablo and Eugene, her son, Robert Delgado and her great grandson, Kenneth Amaya. She is survived by her children, Felipe Ramirez (daughter in law Carmen Ramirez), Olga Menchaca, Rafaela R. Amaya, and Tammy Bauer (son in law Tom Bauer), 15 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 21 great great grandchildren and brother Jesus Lopez. Services to be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Southside Funeral Home located at 6301 S. Flores St San Antonio, TX 78214 from 1-3 PM.
