I don’t know where to begin ever since that first day I arrived at CUB looking for help no kids at the time I was greeted by pastor Dennis with open arms and the upmost respect then when I had my first son he baptized him by doing a church welcome and put the oil on his head and claimed him as family then I had my second son and he did the same I wish I could have brought my daughter but it was only two years after Covid things had changed and he had stepped down from the church way before she was born I sent pictures and told him we have a new addition and he congratulated me and gave blessing my son has a Harley Davidison jacket that was given to him by pastor Dennis that he had held on to this whole time cause he saw pastor arrive on his Harley one time to church and he told pastor how much he loved motorcycles I will truly miss and never forget the love and memories my family has with him and the love and support he show a family that wasn’t his blood I love and miss you pastor Dennis

Dennis was my friend since 2000. My wife and I moved to the north side of town and went to a cCommunity Bible Church and that's when I first met Dennis. He sang and wanted people to come down and help serve at the church and I thought, "I can do that," and I did. It wasn't too long after that that I joined the board for 13 years. Dennis, myself, and others really did some wonderful things. We also built a church. Dennis was instrumental in pastoring the church and we loved him dearly. He will be missed. 

Dennis and I will see each other again in the future in heaven. I can't wait to see what he's doing up there. I'll bet money he's singing. Love you Dennis. Miss you with all my heart.

A Memory of Pastor Dennis and Our Miracle Son, Austin

The morning Austin was born, our family faced one of the most frightening moments of our lives. Because of a lack of blood flow to his brain, Austin had been placed in the NICU. The doctors told us that Austin could be paralyzed, blind, and perhaps never able to walk. We were overwhelmed, afraid, and desperately searching for hope.

We reached out to our dear friends, Mark and Brandy, whose father, Pastor Dennis, was a man of tremendous faith. When Pastor Dennis heard what had happened, he immediately began making his way to the hospital to pray with us and over Austin.

On his way there, Pastor Dennis later told us that Jesus spoke directly to his spirit. The message came to him as clearly as the sound of a doorbell: “Ding-dong—Austin is going to be perfectly fine. He is going to be healed. God has healed him.”

Pastor Dennis came to the hospital and prayed over Austin with complete faith and confidence in the healing power of Jesus Christ. On the second day after Austin was born, we noticed a small red patch on his side, directly over the area of his heart. From that moment forward, we believed that the mark represented the place where Jesus had reached down, touched Austin, and healed him.

Six days later, we carried Austin home from the hospital with none of the devastating conditions we had been warned about. Today, Austin is a healthy, fully grown 19-year-old—a living testimony to God’s grace, mercy, and healing power.

We will always be grateful to Pastor Dennis for answering the call, for coming to our side, and for believing when we were frightened and uncertain. His prayers gave us strength, his faith gave us hope, and his obedience to God became part of our family’s miracle.

To the entire family, thank you for sharing Pastor Dennis with us during one of the most important moments of our lives. His ministry did not simply comfort us—it left a permanent mark upon our hearts and helped carry us through
