David Lee Gonzales Jr.

David Lee Gonzales, Jr., age 46, of San Antonio, passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, December 30, 2023, after a brief illness. David was born on December 11, 1977, in San Antonio, to David Lee Sr. and Rosa Maria Castellano Gonzales; she survives.

As a child, David loved spending time with his cousins and friends. He enjoyed playing baseball and being outside with his family and friends. David attended both Roosevelt High School and South San High, where he excelled in wrestling and enjoyed studying journalism.

Those who knew David best will remember a man who loved spending time with his family and friends, watching sports and debating politics with anyone willing to discuss the recent events. David’s love of his family, the kindness he had for his friends, and the way he lived his life will be missed by all who knew him.

David is survived by one daughter, Adreanna Gonzales; mother, Rosa Castellano; sister, Jamie Gonzales, and wife Clarissa Zorrilla.
