David grew up in Moulton, Texas. He joined the Navy for 6 years and served proudly on the USS Prairie. He enjoyed attending the ship reunions in the past and reconnecting with those he served with. He was a licensed electrician for his career and was a member of IBEW. During this time, he made many lifelong friends.
David was an avid fisherman. Living in Houston gave him unlimited opportunities to always try and catch the “big one”. He loved to play games…poker, dominoes, bingo with family and friends. He also loved traveling with his beloved wife of 56 years, Janie, was something that they enjoyed and made many great memories. This especially included many trips to casinos. He loved attending events through the years with his grandchildren and enjoyed many sporting events and plays. He was so proud of each of them. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
David is survived by his wife, Janie, father-in-law, Wilfred Kloesel and children, Lynn Bradshaw (Mark), Michael Crawford (Lynn) and former daughter-in-law, Angela Crawford. His beloved grandchildren are Chad (Carly), Colton, Chase, Mica, Allison and Gatlin and great grandchildren Beau and Noah Mae.
