Charles "Charlie" Otto Drolet

Charles (Charlie) Otto Drolet of San Antonio, Texas passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 86. He was born on January 21, 1938, in Atlantic City, New Jersey and grew up on Long Island, New York. He graduated from Levittown Memorial High School in 1955; New York Institute of Technology in 1980 and received his MBA from Regis University in 1988.

He served in the United States Air Force for 6 years. Charlie worked in Aerospace finance for 50 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Charles Henry Drolet and Helen Violet Wiedler; his brother Richard Drolet and sister Margaret Drolet; his brother in-law Wade Hulings; his sister in-law Judith Hulings (Drolet); great nephew Richard James Bailey.

Charlie is survived by his wife Dorothy (Hulings); daughters Marybeth Fries, Alison Drolet Linnen, spouse Chris Linnen, son Eric Drolet; Niece Lisa Bailey (Drolet), spouse James Bailey, and daughter Katie Bailey; Grandchildren Amanda (Fries) and spouse Matthew Johnston, Aaron Hatcher and spouse Jordon, Alexandra Fries, Nicole Fries, and Kyle Hatcher; Great-grandchildren Isabella, Regan, and yet to be born great grandson (Johnston); brother Robert Drolet and his extended family.

The family would like to thank Ryan, Kelly, and Abrum of Trinity Hospice for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 7, 2025 at 10:30 am at St. Anthony Claret Catholic Church, 6150 Roft Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78253

Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Friday, February 7, 2025 at 3:00 pm with military honors.
