Calvin Erwin Sultemeier

(July 8, 1948 - March 13, 2023)

Calvin Erwin Sultemeier, 74, of San Antonio, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023. Calvin was born in Fredericksburg, Texas to Alvin and Olivia Weirich Sultemeier on July 8th, 1948. He graduated from LBJ (Johnson City) High School in 1967, and soon joined the United States Air Force, where he served for 20 years. Upon his retirement from the USAF, Calvin began a 34-year career in civil service, until his retirement in 2021.

Calvin is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Kathy Jenschke and Betty Lou Bohnert, and his wife, Joan Sultemeier.

Calvin is survived by his daughter Britney Polk and son Kelly Sultemeier, and spouses, and brothers Kermit Sultemeier, Melvin Sultemeier and spouses.

Memorials in honor of Calvin Sultemeier may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church, Stonewall, Texas, or to a charity of your choice.

Interment at Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
