Truly one of a kind, Bobbie touched the lives of so many, and her warmth and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Bobbie graduated from Brackenridge High School in San Antonio, Texas. Her life was forever changed when she met her future husband, Cyril, at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Together, they built a life centered on faith and family and shared nearly 65 years of loving marriage. Bobbie’s faith was at the heart of everything she did. A devoted member of Concordia Lutheran Church, she generously gave her time and talents to both the church and its school, including serving as a teacher. She had a true gift for caring for others and was well known for her hospitality, generous spirit, and love of baking. Her cookies and Christmas treats were especially beloved, and sharing them with family, friends, and others was one of the many ways Bobbie showed her love and made people feel special. Through the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML), Bobbie also lovingly prepared and provided meals for numerous church events and funerals. She gave selflessly of her time, offering comfort, warmth, and care to others during some of life’s most difficult moments. Above all, Bobbie cherished her family. She was a loving and proud mother and grandmother whose home—and heart—were always open. She shared an especially close bond with her daughters-in-law, Tina and Jamie, whom she loved and embraced as daughters. Bobbie is survived by her two sons and their wives, Keith and Tina Firgens and David and Jamie Firgens, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Peyton, Logan, Audrey, and Ethan. Bobbie will be remembered for her unwavering faith, generous heart, welcoming spirit, and deep love for her family. The kindness she showed, the meals she prepared, the cookies and Christmas treats she lovingly baked, the people she served, and the love she gave so freely will remain in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.
