Andrew Herrera Jr.

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son Andrew Herrera Jr. He departed this world on Friday June 2, 2023, leaving behind a void that can never be filled. He was 45 years old.

Andrew Herrera was born on February 23, 1978 to Andres and Elaine Herrera in San Antonio, Texas. He is survived by his parents, sister Kimberly Wasley, brother-in-law Shawn, his 2 nephews Shawn and Konnor, and 2 nieces Kailynn and Shailynn. His presence brought light and warmth to their lives daily and all who knew him. Andrews’ compassionate nature, kind heart, and infectious personality touched the hearts of everyone around him.

He spent 25 years working at the Vulcan plant, always taking charge and working when needed. He will be remembered and respected by all his peers for his dedication and hard work ethic. He enjoyed playing softball and spending quality time with family and friends.

Andy will be dearly missed by his family and close friends. He leaves behind love, kindness, and cherished memories that will forever be etched in our hearts. We take solace in the knowledge that he is now at peace.

We extend our deepest gratitude to all who have expressed their condolences and offered support during this difficult time. Your kind words and gestures have provided us comfort and strength.
