Anastasio Claudio Silva

Anastasio Claudio Silva of San Antonio, TX went to be with the Lord on July 2nd, 2023 at the age of 94. He was born on October 29th, 1928 in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico where he grew up on a tobacco farm, then served our country and became an amazing man, husband and father.

He served in both the U.S Army and Air Force, and retired after 30 years of Civil Service at Kelly Air Force base.

He lived a great life and was blessed with two marriages, first to Mary Dee Thomas in 1959 and after Mary went to be with the Lord, he would find love again with Alma Llanes in 1986. He is preceded by Mary Dee Thomas, his father Emiliano Claudio Silva, his mother Crecensia Silva Flores and his brothers and sisters.

He is survived by six daughters, Isabel, Ruth, Melinda, Thelma, Stephanie, Gabriela and grandchildren Tabitha, Hannah, Rebecca, Layla, Madison and Mia and six great grandchildren Jailyn, Jacob, Jolie, Naveen, Christine and Marianna.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Rosary and Mass at Holy Family Catholic Church on July 20th, 2023 at 10:00am at 152 Florencia Ave., San Antonio, TX 78228.

Military funeral honors ceremony to follow at Fort Sam Houston at 1:15pm at 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San

Antonio, TX 78209. Those in attendance are asked to arrive in Shelter 2.
