Anastacio Ray Herrera

Anastacio Ray Herrera Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle went to be with the Lord on February 8,2017 at the age of 75. Ray was born on October 21, 1941 in San Antonio to Anastacio Herrera Sr. and Francisca Herrera. Ray was preceded in death by his Father Anastacio Herrera and Mother Francisca Herrera, Brother Jose Herrera.. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Yolanda Roxana Herrera, sons Charles Herrera and Roger Herrera granddaughter Trinity Herrera and grandsons Ethan Herrera, Matthan Herrera, Benjamin Herrera and Jonah Herrera. Brother Matias Herrera, sister Guadalupe Banda, Raquel Zapata and numerous nephews, nieces, friends that will miss him dearly.

He was a graduate of Lanier high school and proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam.

He enjoyed spending time with friends and family as often as he could.

A memorial service will be held February 25th at Westover Hills Assembly of God at 11:30 AM and a military service will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas on Monday , February 27, 2017 at 9:30 AM.
