I love this picture of 3 and I!! For me he was the best son I ever had! It was a pleasure being your Mom! You were such a blessing to me and seeing you grow up from kid to a Daddy! It was always awesome to hear you tell us stories about Aj growing up and the things he would do that remind us of you!! 🥰❤️. You will always be my heart!!  I’m going to continue to share stories to our grandchildren about you!! I love and miss you son!! Forever in my heart! ❤️

I met Alvaro in middle school and we played on the football team together.. we walked the stage together.. he supported me through my battle with epilepsy. Truly was an amazing person and will be missed! I love you brother may you rest in peace! Prayers to the family if anything is needed let me know 

I worked briefly with Alvaro at UT Health and it didn’t take long to notice what a sweet person he was. In all the chaos behind the scenes of a busy clinic, he always kept a smile and a positive attitude.  He loved to share stories about how much he enjoyed embarrassing his fiancé on their dates by telling the waiter corny jokes. The only thing better than his attitude was his taste in music. He played all the hits and never turned down a song request.  I pray wherever he is that he’s still jamming to the classics. 

My sincerest condolences to his family. I hope your happy memories of Alvaro bring you peace and comfort during this time.

Even though I only saw 3 a few times in my life when I was around him he was the silliest and would make me smile and laugh so much. I knew he was special. My condolences to all of his family.  Now you rejoice in Heaven 3. You’re pain free. Rest in Peace.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Alvaro III. It was a great joy and pleasure to be able to get to know your family and to share memories with you all when we lived in San Antonio and served together at church. I know how much III meant to you all and how much his struggle with MS affected you.  Looking back, I am so thankful that God allowed me the opportunity to visit him last Christmas, not ever knowing that it would be his final Christmas here on earth. 

I don't know why this had to happen. I wish it wasn't your boy. But it is. All I know to say is that The Lord is good and His mercy endures forever.  He walks with us in the valley of the shadow of death, which is where you may be today. He is with you. May God restore your soul and give you a peace that passes the understanding of this difficult moment. You are in my prayers and I am glad to have met III.

Alvaro was the first friend I made when I started working with UT in 2016. We worked together for two years. During that time he was always singing, laughing, and making jokes which made the day go faster. My deepest condolences to his family, he will be sorely missed. 

My deepest condolences to the Soto family.  He will be truly missed.  I will miss his smile, laughter and his joking ways. RIP 3.  

I met Alvaro back in 2016 at UT Health’s Neurosurgery clinic. I was filling in for someone and was blessed to have worked side by side with him. He was always laughing (that laugh was so contagious!), singing, & dancing. It was never a dull moment that’s for sure! He will be sorely missed.  My sincere condolences go out to his family, especially his fiancé and children. May you find comfort knowing he is at peace.  

I am so saddened to hear this news. Alvaro and I went to H.S. together. He was always so sweet. He was absolutely hilarious! He could light up the whole room. I remember always smiling around him. We called each other "one of my favorite people" he will be missed dearly.

My condolences to the Soto family! I didn’t know Alvaro Soto III very well but I do know his father and stepmother and I know that they loved him dearly. Alvaro Soto III had a caring and loving family. My prayers go out to the family.

First my condolences to all of his family im deeply sorry for your loss. I met alavaro at UT health primary care he was the benefits coordinator there. He was such a nice and caring person who talked alot of about his children and was always willing to help you. I would always walk by his desk and he was always listening to music and singing. He will be missed so glad I had the pleasure of working with him. May you rest in peace alvaro

I am so sad to hear about Alvaro. I worked with him at UT Health San Antonio. He loved his family more than anything and wanted to be the best husband and father possible. He always smiled- even through the pain of his disease. My deepest condolences to Hope and his sweet babies!

Never thought this would happen.
I remember the days when we were little, I "pretended" to be sick from school, just to get picked up from my uncle so I can hang out with Alvie. I remember when we played Yugioh together. I know we haven't been close, but...not sure how I'm going to feel now that Alvie is gone. He's with Erica and Pura now. I'll see you again soon. Love you cuz.
