Sandra Louise Wallace

Sandra Louise Tate Wallace Sandra Louise Tate Wallace was born on August 25th, 1949 in Los Angeles, California, to the late Hugh Sr and Velma Tate. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and lived by His principles. Sandra worked devotedly for over 30 years. Her employers included Kaiser Permanente, JC Penny, State of Utah and, City of South Jordan. She loved her part-time position as a crossing guard for the City of South Jordan where she worked until her health declined. In her downtime, she enjoyed spending quality time with her grandkids and traveling before falling ill. Sandra was a bright light to all who knew her. Our beloved Mother, Granny, Sister, Aunt and Friend, answered the ultimate call to come home to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, February 18th, 2017. She truly fought the good fight of faith; bending at times but NEVER breaking. This is the legacy she leaves, sweet, courageous and resilient in spirit. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents Hugh and Velma Tate and her sister Velma Tate. Sandra leaves to cherish her RICH legacy, her two beautiful daughters Rhonda Potter (Tallahassee, FL) and Angela Haylock (West Jordan, UT), 5 grandchildren: Jaden, Janai, Syrus, Perry and Kai. 1 sister Beverly Donalson (Mel) CA, 2 brothers Hugh Tate, Jr (Sharon) CA, and Ronnie Tate (Cecilia) CA, and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends who loved her dearly.
