Roger Don Trujillo

March 28, 1950 - October 17, 2023

It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we announce the passing of Roger, a beloved husband, father, son, and brother. He departed this world on October 17th, leaving behind a legacy of music, laughter, and an abundance of beautiful memories.

Roger will be remembered for his infectious laughter and witty one-liners. His "dad jokes" could light up any room, bringing joy to the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him (even up until his last days). Whether he was strumming his guitar, singing from his heart, playing the harmonica, or cracking a joke, he had the extraordinary ability to touch hearts and make people smile.

Roger was born in Richmond, CA to Gilbert and Viola Trujillo. Later serving the US Navy in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife, Kelly Trujillo, and three daughters; Chea Trujillo Briggs (Steven), Maria Trujillo, and Joanna Trujillo (Justin). Roger is also remembered by his devoted siblings, Barbara Trujillo Carver (Carrie, Greg), Sandra Holman (Dan, Danny, David, Dean), Ronaldo Trujillo, and Lisa Romo (Tony, Melissa, Mondo), who shared in his passion for life and creating lifelong memories together.

Although he has left this earthly stage, his soul and music will forever serenade our hearts, and his laughter will remain an enduring reminder that laughter truly is the best medicine.
