Leeann Marble Morris

Over the next 10 years, she greeted 5 siblings in Ogden, UT, Boulder, CO, Fremont, CA, and San Pedro, CA as the family grew. She was an exemplary sister and daughter, eager to please her parents. At the age of 14, she moved with her mother and siblings to Orem, UT. She was strongly influenced by her mother but also by four kind grandparents and many aunts and uncles. She graduated with her friends from Orem High School in 1974. She spent a magical summer working in the Old Faithful area of Yellowstone National Park as a “Pillow Pusher” and chasing the boys.

She married in 1977 and was blessed with the finest four sons anyone could imagine. They grew quickly and began their own families. She was soon working in Salt Lake City helping people with loans and keeping her bosses happy. After a divorce and a few years, she met Matthew Morris in the Singles Ward in Logan and they were married in the Logan Temple on June 24, 2000. They made their home together in Nibley, UT, for the last 25 years.

Leeann was also blessed with friends that truly blessed her life. She enjoyed serving them and being lifted by friendship and time together. One of her favorite activities was reading time to many of the neighborhood children on her porch. She loved education and often read books and enjoyed researching on the world wide web. She always wanted more education and to fulfill her desires to provide, with Matt, for their temporal needs.

Leeann had a relationship with her Heavenly Father and served him and His children well. She belonged to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She believed and practiced her faith.

During the last year of her life, at age 68, she battled with brain cancer (GBM). She passed at home with Matt nearby. Matt made sure she was comfortable and he provided for her every need. She also had many wonderful doctors and nurses that assisted her as her needs increased.

Leeann is survived by her husband Matt Morris, her sons Josh (Jani) Johnson, Ben (Melanie) Johnson, Erick (Laura) Jansson aka Bryce, Doug (Mimi) Johnson and 15 grandchildren.

Four brothers, Brian (Linda) Marble, Gordon (Kaylynn) Marble, Jeff (Lisa) Marble and Keith (Mindy) Marble, 16 nieces and nephews and their children as well as 3 Aunts (Rose Baird, Janet Murdoch, Gloria Bateman) and 3 Uncles (Ron Bateman, Randy Murdoch, Quinn Baird) and a multitude of 1st cousins.

Leeann is preceded in death by her father Noell Marble (Mar 24, 2025), her mother Carolyn Whipple Marble, her favorite sister Julene Isaacson, her only blood related uncle, Mark Whipple, Aunt Marva Lawrence and Uncle Steve Lawrence and four of the best grandparents that anyone could ask for.
