Dr. Lawrence Walter Davis was born January 11, 1942 and went to be with his Lord Jesus on July 13, 2019.

Larry was a steadfast man in every aspect of his life. He was the epitome of a man who draws his inner strength from the Lord. As a husband and father he led his family with his quiet and faithful devotion and leadership. As a doctor he was known by his colleagues and patients for his gentle and knowledgeable bedside manner. As a friend he was the “quiet one,” but if you saw the twinkle in his eye you knew he was up to something and would catch onto his infectious laugh. Those who met him felt instantly comfortable with his gentle manner and were drawn to him.

Larry is survived by his wife Carol, 3 children, 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and brother and sister who all look forward to seeing him again in heaven.

His homecoming celebration will be held Saturday, August 10th at 11am.
