

Glen Albert Butler peacefully passed away in Ogden, Utah, on July 12, 2024, surrounded by his beloved family. Born on April 7, 1945, in Midvale, Utah, Glen was raised by his parents Albert and Stella Butler and siblings Wendell, Kent, Jay, Stan, Michael, Elaine, and Ilene.
Glen married Pamela Accord, and they welcomed their son Jeremy into the world before later parting ways. In 2008, he married Vicki Frew, gaining three more children: Kristy, Shane, and Jilyn. Glen and Vicki cherished 16 years of marriage and 33 years together.
Known for his love of family and friends, Glen was a versatile man with many skills and a passion for NASCAR, especially admiring Dale Earnhardt. He proudly served in the Army for four years during the Vietnam War as a crew chief and gunner, earning the soldier's medal for his bravery in battle.
Glen is survived by his devoted wife Vicki, children Jeremy and wife Erica, Kristy and husband Tom, and Jil, along with 14 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 7 siblings. He is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Stella, siblings Jay, Stan, Wendel, Ilene, and son Shane.
