Claudia J. Peck

April 7, 1950 - October 10, 2023

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Claudia Johnson Peck, passed away peacefully October 10th, 2023, at home surrounded by family. She was born in Midvale Utah to Josephine and Reed Johnson. Claudia graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1968. She worked at Martin Brower for 12 years and she and her husband had a wonderful 20-year retirement. She loved gambling, traveling, golfing, and spending time with her family.

Claudia was a loving, larger than life individual who touched the lives of those around her with her kind and funny personality. We will miss her contagious smile, sense of adventure, ability to make everyone feel like part of the family.

She is survived by her Daughter Kristie Gardner (Robert), Grandchildren Garrett Gardner (Hailee Funke), Devin Gardner, Ashlyn Knight (Grady Jacobs) all of Salt Lake City. She was preceded in death by her husband Darrell Peck, parents Josephine and Reed, brothers JR Johnson and George Johnson.

The family is planning a celebration of life for the spring of 2024.
