He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Witek, née Czeczot; dear son, Michael Witek; sister, Barbara (Pawel) Michon; nephews, Nick and Hubert Michon; and many friends. Wojciech is preceded in death by his parents, Stanislaw and Maria Witek, née Kessler, and his nephew, Lukas Michon.
Wojciech was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as leather working, stamp and coin collecting, and woodworking. His free time was spent with his family. Wojciech will be fondly remembered and missed by all who knew him.
Memorial Mass Saturday, May 17th, 10:00 a.m. at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church; 502 S. Park Blvd.; Streamwood, IL 60107. Interment Private.
